1) "The focal point of Medina's Public Square- the Gazebo- is an exact replica of a Victorian gazebo built in 1879"

2) "After the great fire of 1870 destroyed most of the buildings around Medina's public square, the merchants rebuilt nearly everything between 1870 and 1895. They thus created the elegant examples of the latest Victorian styles of architecture."

3) "Built in 1841 in the Greek revival style and remolded into Victorian style in 1873, the Medina County courthouse is listed in the National Register of historic places."
